Long Neck was the 16th Kaiju in the Fireman Roster, serving as the Monster of the Week in Episode 16; Steal the Fire Stick!.

_Bio and Abilities_
Long Neck was a Sauropod like Dinosaur, artificially created by Atla Aliens to Slay Fireman while stealing the Fire Stick – Misaki's item to transform into Fireman. Long Neck, while describe as a Sauropod, stood bipedal; had reddish color body covered in rectangular shape patterns on it – the display gave it a Brick like look; a long neck that ended on a head surrounded by leaf shape tendrils, and possess a long tail.

Its only major abilities were Fire Breathing, Swimming and its Tail – the latter which it would use to whip and choke its enemies; the tail would split up into two tips for better grasping hold of its enemy.

Long Neck was among the many Kaiju, from Fireman and the Ultraman series to be seeing in the stock footage sequences used at the start of Dinosaur Great War Izenborg. It's roar was likely Barugon's Roar from the Gamera series.

_History_
On board their UFO, Atla Aliens study Footage from Fireman's battle with Nerogiras (Ep.9) when they come to see Fireman's Human Identity and the Fire Stick, his method of Transformation. The Aliens conclude they must steal the Fire Stick in order to kill him; Meanwhile, Misaki (Fireman) helps rescue an injured bird and delivers it to a small girl (I think her name was pronounce Ginsha) – this encounter was notice by the Atla, who decided to use the Girl in their plans; behind them, Long Neck, in its amoeba state, lies seal in its capsule.

Later, Ginsha meets up with a friend (Wakaro?) near a lake when Long Neck appears; the kids run away and split, but the girl gets kidnapped by the Aliens and later brainwashed as well turning her flute into a laser weapon. SAF then travels to the area after hearing the reports of the Lake Monster, while Misaki is been called telepathically by his Fireman name and sets out to investigate, just as the Kaiju emerges; the Girl shoots but misses, but a second shot on his arm paralizes it, not allowing Misaki to establish the Transformation Posse; Ginsha steals the Fire Stick and Long Neck retreats, its attack having been used as distraction. Wakaro then finds Misaki unconscious and the two search the area for Ginsha. Afterwards, Marigon and the Marine Car stumble upon the Atla's Spaceship over the lake, and shoot at it, though the aliens repel it by ordering Long Neck to attack; the Kaiju shuts down the Marigon and it sinks to the bottom of the lake with Chiba and Mizushima on board; Umino and Mariko tried to repel the Kaiju with no luck and escape and the Monster goes on a rampage attacking a village.

Elsewhere, Misaki and Wakaro catch up to Ginsha and the Aliens and fight for the Fire stick – Wakaro tries to make Ginsha break free of their control, while the Commander inserts its will, causing confusion. In the scuffle, Wakaro gets hurt and the girl shoots at the commander as he escapes with the Fire Stick in hand, but becomes a hostage of the subordinate, who demands Misaki surrender the item in exchange for the girls life. He does, but as soon he runs away with the stick, Misaki blocks his escape, and beats the Atla Subordinate to death recovering the Fire stick and freeing the Girl; with the Kids unconscious, Misaki transforms into Fireman to Battles Long Neck.

For the Most part, Fireman manages to beat the Monster, but not without challenge, as it is repeatedly choke by its long tail, which reveals to be prehensile, its tip splitting up into two and holding greater grasp on Fireman, however the hero uses it to choke the beast; Freman takes the chance to jumps into the lake to rescue Chiba and Mizushima; Afterwards, Fireman emerges to stop the Monster from stomping on Wakaro and Ginsha, but the beasts again tries to burn, then choke Fireman while holding him with its tail – with time running out, Fireman chops the the tail off, the Angry kaiju tosses Fireman into the air, but he returns for a kick, tossing the beast into the lake; Fireman disposes of Long Neck with FireFlash, blowing it into pieces.

After reverting into Misaki, he and the kids reunite with the rest of SAF.
