Yes, that's exactly how I imagined it! Tears is a very nice touch and I like their emotions. Fox feels a little more calm (amd possibly kissing Krystal's top of the head^^) And Krystal.... well, she looks she finally feels joyand comfort after many years. It is great that you showed her robotic arm during the hug! I also love it that characters or lying in bed yet the scene isn't sexy, it just comforting. And like I said before I can believe in your Kursed's reunion wiht Fox^^

Kursed isn't normally someone I'm happy to see, as she is my most hated 'character' in the Star Fox franchise (seriously I hate her even more than Pigma). I consider her and Krystal to be two separate characters, even though they are not in actuality That being said, while I do tend to avoid works with Kursed in them these days I always consider the context of the work, and you've done a good job of making her sympathetic, because she's ultimately still Krystal underneath and not an edgelord's wet dream wearing a Krystal skinsuit. Your portrayal of her is one I can root for because she didn't pull the BS she did in Command. This Kursed I'm genuinely happy for because she did nothing wrong, and while I hate to say I could see her being somewhat antagonistic towards Fox (in the sense of being snippy or the like instead of actually being an adversary or even just cruel to him) it's believable she would understand how he really felt when she hears it, and realize that yes, he really does love her. Forgone conclusions aside, it's believable this version of her would forgive Fox for being foolish without any resentment. The look on her face says just how grateful she is he's back in her life.

Agreed, any time I draw Kursed I want to ensure that she is still sympathetic and not as far gone as the version from Command. I love it when wounded characters are given a redemption arch. Hopefully some day I will finish my fanfic about an alternate timeline where she splits from Fox, but like the version I’ve portrayed in this pic, she would be overjoyed to be back with him again.

The number of portrayals of Kursed that I feel sympathetic towards can be counted on one hand (maybe two now that I've seen yours) and of those, only two actually follow the events of Command to the letter. Krystal is one of my two favorite characters (three guesses who the other is), and I just can't believe that she of all people would fly off of the deep end after everything she's endured just because of romantic heartache. I'd like to think she's a lot stronger than that. If you ever do finish your fanfic, I'll be sure to give it a read.

I'm realizing quickly that drawing Kursed in this way might be considered pretty niche. I'm glad it has struck such a positive chord with people. It's a great motivator to draw more like it! I'll definitely be drawing illustrations to accompany the story, if it's ever finished!
