This is the zorn palette from the other reference sheet doing grayscale first and then overlaying the color using overlay. (Or the reverse, flat hue first and then using hardlight layer for the grayscale) I prefer this method because the swatches are more extreme in their changes but i also like hardlight for less extreme shading. The palette is wider than what is shown but it's a good starting point for mixing base hues of natural skintones. and by natural I mean, human skintones, not bright purples or blues like with equestria girls, but even when using those more extreme colors, coloring the grayscale layer is the same. :)
