Fiends originates from the broken form of the ancient Dragon Malthrax,they were born out of his malice,hatred and evil, tiny shards of his being,but also independent of him. They skulk in shadows and dark places and take pleasure in the misfourtune of others. Fiends grow in power and stature and independent from devouring other fiend shards.

Wether or not it is a fiend shaped like a wicked sword or a sword possesed by a fiend is up for debate. in either case, this being takes great delight in slaying mortals and devour their souls
