I Found a book that tells you how to make animals out of socks. The frog was one of the examples they used. and I agree the fuzzy sock scrap looks a little rabid.

I found it at JoAnn's fabric it is called Stray sock sewing Too (it is the sequel to stray sock sewing which I don't have). Also I have sock and glove which shows you how to make animals out of gloves too :)
