Alternate version of The ranch episode 51 One year and one day in which the former owners of the horse Mistral ended up tracking him down at the last equestrian competition Lena participated in and where Samantha Cavaletti spilled the beans after overhearing the conversation of the 2 shady men, seeing it as a good opportunity to get rid of her rival having made her lose all the equestrian competitions she participated in during 2015.

After a chase to vainly escape Mistral's former owners where the horse was put to sleep by a tranquilizer dart to prevent him from losing them, Lena was taken home by her veterinarian father and after learning that hair is supposed to be equipped with a locator chip at a young age, Lena and her friends came to the conclusion that Mistral was stolen by the two men who claim to be his owners and therefore their certificate is fake.

In order to prevent her daughter from making a reckless move to get her horse back after her friend Hugo has found the address where Mistral is, Mrs. Steiner has decided to use the strongest means and to sequester her daughter in her bedroom by tying/gagging her and beating her securely for her sake.

Poor Lena, she would never have imagined that her mother would have to apply this radical method to spare her from getting into trouble and she only has to wait until her friends Anais, Angelo and Hugo have finished checking if the horses of the ranch where Mistral is are equipped with a chip or not, which will allow them to bring evidence to the police to condemn their criminal actions.
