When the robot child you abandoned for half a year without a word, doesn't seem as enthusiastic about your return as you thought he would be.
Sunflower got some lessons to learn about stuff like consequences of one's own choices and actions and maybe consider others' feelings when ya make choices based on those feelings. Sunflower has some issues with feeling too attached to others, figured some distance was good idea... turns out people don't like a guy who runs away from a kid that was seeing him as a father figure and now got trust issues around adults. Oops.
He'll make up for it. Eventually.
