At some point, the demon/alien is going to have to start showing them some of Bailey's explanatory memories too.

I still think Bailey is a fool for abandoning her family without explaining why.

I understand your distress, but step back for a moment from the immersion and realize that this is a story-telling element. We are learning about the traumatic events that linger in the siblings' minds. We have witnessed an explanation to Dom's broken horn, and that though it hurt, Dom felt nothing but love toward his sister, Bailey. Perhaps another memory from Bailey will shed light on why she left the family.

Back into immersion mode, I admit that I would like to see some radical skeletal rearrangement done to this hostile alien, assuming it has a skeleton. Otherwise, if happiness is a poison to this monster, then I will be very happy to feel happy around such a disgusting creature until either it learns a lesson or perishes in miserable ignorance.

i get all that, still though i think them being forced to relive their trauma is just cruel, also i still wanna see this guy get arrested by space police for torturing "lesser" intelligent life all because their equipment was tuned wrong and it turned out to be an internet relay station and thus making said alien look like a complete ass hat. but i would also love to see his molecules rearranged into a rubber ducky.

I like to believe this was all a dumb misunderstanding. Seph and Dom were putting equipment up in the middle of some god-forsaken peak to get mysterious readings. I doubt they had any clue they were detecting this [sarcasm] beautiful example of a gorgeous creature. [/sarcasm]

And this creature did not bother to ask what the heck these three were doing on top of a mountain and assumed they were trying to find him. As the saying goes, assume anything and you make an "ass" out of "u" and "me".

If people opened their mouths and ears instead of being cantankerous jerkwads, this could save a whole lot of unnecessary pain and effort. End of dumb Jay ranting.

I do have one theory Bailey felt guilty for what happened to dom so guilty in fact she jest had to leave it’s quite common

She probably felt guilty for Dom's injury and so she distanced herself.

That's what I thought from the conversation when she originally appeared in the story.
