(I was not, in fact, alone, as such. I was on a voice chat with some friends, watching people play Phasmaphobia while also trying to get my homework done. See, I have friends! I'm not THAT pathetic I swear!)
Top: A bat. It's full of love. Also some attempts at 8-value gradients.
Upper left: A rather rude streamer. This was mostly just an excuse to draw cat-ear headphones.
Upper Right: An ACTION BEAR enters the room! Better roll for initiative.
Left: I can't stop drawing cyborg Kobold friend send help. First we have a head shot, this time with protective material over the previously exposed wires and mechanics. To the right is a rough idea of how much of Dyne are visibly robotic. Below I have some doodles of ornaments they might wear: an old world patch they found somewhere, a *fancy* earring that Sarah probably didn't have a use for, and the ID tag they wore during their Very Long Nap. More on that last item later; But first, The Weather.
Right: "Alone on a friday night?" asks 2/3rds of Electro, one of the first things that could be called my OCs. Having misplaced his lower half doesn't stop him from lounging smugly in the air. Axel, nearby, is irritated, which is more or less their ground state of being.
Bottom right: Self Portrait With Unfinished Homework, me, 2022, disappointment on canvas.
+++Fun facts!+++
+ apparently I don't know what a bear looks like.
+ The large circular thing in Dyne's left ear is a camera. It's arguably better than having no vision at all on their left side.
+ Dyne is mute and most of the people they meet don't know centuries-old sign language. Since aquiring a tablet, they have discovered the wonders of emoticons and font art.
+ Electro's smug expression is the work of a small holographic projector hidden in his head. Axel's lower jaw, on the other hand, is completely real.
+ Axel and Electro are members of a species of unknown origin. Think of them like alien plants piloting mecha. Damage to the chassis can usually be ignored short-term, and as long as it is not too close to the cockpit.
