Good. writing is good and often brings ideas.

If you got loads of ideas, get them down on paper/notepad file. It's a pain in the arse if you know you already came up with something that works great for your ideas, but you forgotten it!

Oh god I HATE that....

It's happened to me a few times. I've got so many things to keep track off. So, write/type all your ideas down! All my various worlds and universes have their own notepad files, some with more than one for a particular subject within the uh, idea. I also got myself a student notebook I use to write down all the ideas, story lines, character info, object design and more, for my massively delayed webcomic idea.
