It's so hard to pick a favorite Spoony review. I usually find myself rewatching Bloodwings: Pumpkinhead's Revenge, Clones of Bruce Lee, and his SWAT and Phantasmagoria playthroughs. I just love to listen to this guy, like he's a talk radio host or something. I can't explain why he's fun to listen to. He just is.

The BSG board game is awesome! I got it for my friend last Christmas on Spoonys recommendation. Played it so much some of the cards are falling appart!

Just this past Tuesday I finally got the opportunity to play, (sans expansion) and it was just as fun and intriguing as it looked in his video. I decided to rewatch the video so I could re-experience Spoony's game now that I had context.

I am damn impressed by how they were able to make a game that was fun, (relatively) easy to learn, included lots of different but balanced mechanics, AND was true to the source material.

We picked up the expansion and really didn't like it. It felt like playing a completely different game once you land on New Caprica. Playing as a Cylon from the start is interesting though since they have unique goals. But being able to send someone out the airlock really ruins the game. Yeah, I was the first to be airlocked, best way to find out whos a Cylon or not, but you lose so much in doing so.

Anyway, I wonder what the new heads are thinking once they pop out. Do they have the same memories as the first?
