The chicken melts into your leg as you try to move away, nearly causing you to trip. You do end up half tripping a moment later, when the other practically flies into your back. The slime spreads with a squelch, leaving behind feathers too impatient to wait. You barely get a moment to realize what's happening when more slime covers your face, spreading to your arms as you shout in surprise.
Your shout changes to a squawking noise, a beak sprouting from your face and talons bursting from your feet. You pant, watching in disbelief as your arms change to feathered wings. Any thoughts of trying to fly are put on hold as your tail bursts forth, heavy slime shifting into only slightly lighter feathers that glisten in the sunlight.
