Got this from
blackfox85 recently. A gravid Burmecian huntress dragging home a freshly killed deer, no doubt to feed herself and her family back in tribal campgrounds. Even more so given that she's with child, so it's important that she eats right and enough to give her child a good head start in life. And obviously, she's had a hard life just existing, just like our own cavemen ancestors who lived during the stone age. You either got your ass in gear, or you were killed by a apex predator or a rival of your species, to say nothing of injury and sickness. Naturally such people would be hardier and more robust compared to most modern lifeforms, due to all the physical activity they did which makes excellent physical conditioning, and the food was shall we say, more "natural", it's inspired people to adopt a "paleo diet" for health reasons. And despite formal schooling not being a thing for several millennia more, there's plenty of decent brains and ingenuity to be had for such people, like making tools and understanding how to survive.

Of course, it ain't wholly my concept for the picture, I was inspired by a picture I stumbled upon long ago, about a decade back, by an artist named
victoriaviper.

Make no mistake, I ain't usually interested in smutty pictures, and the material that
victoriaviper draws warrants a hazmat suit while browsing. But I guess there's nothing wrong with tasteful pinups and artistic nudity. Certainly do have a thing for those classic female pinups from bygone times like the 1940's and 1950's, like those wartime posters and such. And even though the original picture makes a smut meter go off like a Geiger counter at Chernobyl, I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a thing for muscular and tough females, particularly warriors and soldiers. So I got
blackfox85 to make a cleaner picture of her, doing some errands like bringing home fresh game. And hey, a lady who can survive this long and still get shit done despite being with child is a plus in my book.
"Beware the old man or woman, where men and women usually die young."
And yeah, despite all our culture and tech amassed and developed so far, deep down inside, our primal instincts never really go away. We've just developed more and better ways to use them effectively, especially in times of war.

"It speaks to something primitive within us, underneath the veneer of civilization. After all, with only twenty-four hours and two meals away from barbarism: we have more in common with the caveman, than you think."
And when you think about it, given how nasty and chaotic the world is now, it makes a good case to go back to simpler times. Granted, such times were also harsh and unforgiving too.

Artwise, suppose those old school paintings of Neolithic life spring to mind. I was trying to make something similar with this picture.

And hell, I actually had a flashback to when Final Fantasy IX was a thing. Too young to understand how a JRPG worked, but still liked seeing Freya Crescent on screen. That rodent lady sure was pretty. So this Tribal Huntress was a strong contrast with her. Maybe later I could get a picture of this Huntress with her baby and tribe members, doing more benign stuff like cave painting or roasting game on a fire. And perhaps one where her descendent in modern Burmecia is doing one of them Cleyran dancing routines with the pretty dresses. Like an older, mature dowager still able to bear kids, enjoying her cultural dance and still quite graceful despite her age and gravidness. Something wholesome and safe.
