Blanc had heard of a revered karate master named Rath and sought him out, not only guidance but also for training. He challenged the dragon to a sparring session and, to somewhat even the playing field, Rath fought the skunk with one hand behind his back. Even with the handicap, Blanc couldn't touch the dragon and ended up bruised and struggling to keep up with Rath. The skunk would take this lesson to heart though, telling himself that he had much to learn and ready to commit himself to improving, especially if the dragon would help him along the way.
