This is something I wrote right before graduating high school. It was originally written as a test to see how a song would sound if I wrote the drums and bass a bit differently than I normally hear them written. Unfortunately I can only make songs in MIDI so far.

The lyrics are:

I remember a time
In life's ocean
Every moment was clear
Did I miss the reason here?
Reasoning takes its turn
But I know never again
Will life stand there

-Summer clears the foggy air
-Winter's lost it's spell in life
-That I grew to treasure dear

So now I walk alone
Memories still breathe
Desires I wished for
Became a reality
Senior year had passed by
I wish somebody had said
It just comes once

-Maybe I will fly
-Soar along by in the sky
-My future's still there

Doubt will not take me
Nor my memory
Loss of present might have meant that
Life passes by
Well I know then
What it's coming to
I must grow up, stop being a child

End the mystery that
I decided I would fear
Friends I made have moved on
I know I should do the same
While I still can
