The trainers look at me in confusion for a moment and I quickly turn my head enough to gesture for them to move in the direction away from Rocket, even going so far as to wave some of my tails before I use a bit of mental force to knock the pokemon closest to me away again. I hear an exclamation and out of the corner of my eye I can see a blue aura beginning to surround the espeon and the trainers as they start to take off and head away from the Rocket trainers.

This alerts the Rocket members that Maria is also in the area and they start scanning around, looking to see if we had anyone else coming to our aid. Once Maria has gotten them far enough away to not be immediately in danger of being grabbed she puts them back down and then gives them a little shove to nudge them in the direction of the main road and to safety.

“Thank you,” the one trainer says, recalling their espeon and then taking off. The other trainer also recalls their own pokemon, trusting in my ability to deflect any last second Override Balls being thrown.
