Pencil from around '98 - '02 ( ???? )
When i was making a new scan of Luna yesterday, i noticed this penciling was in the folder next to it ... i think they were done around the same time ( ? ) . And i thought the original pencil had some charm that might have been lost in the gradient mapped version and rough colour idea version :

While Luna being about night time magic looks fine in natural grey, this pic of young love needed a warmer glowy nostalgic feel. so i added some digital tones, and a sepia tint.

i became aware of and a fan of Micheal Golden during his "Defenders" "Dr.Strange" run ...Then "Bucky O'Hare" about six or seven years after that. So, yeah - big fan !
But i was influenced here in '98 by the young furry artists.
So Golden might have been a subconscious influence as i wasn't thinking of any other one artist while i drew this - i was just creating a style for this one picture.
