Anyway the only senior among Maddie's friends she's the voice of reason in the group and the calm advisor. The gentle soul who wants to help people and seaks to better herself so she can help people better... heck she'd be ALMOST perfect... if it wasn't for her nasty temper and that little fetish of heres... <,<;

General Appearance: Thin, elegant, and shaped like the stereotypical princess or ballroom dancer Kallista is everything the stereotype of her species says. Gentle looking, beautiful, shapely, and rather dainty and soft in appearance she could be the poster girl for what most folks think Gardevoir are... with a little extra thrown in. She has a wise, loving feel about her as if she was a heck of a lot older then she really is. She wears her hair down to about mid back and lets it flow freely; though it’s straight enough it normally just goes straight down against her back with a little bounce and curl to it as well.

Clothing Style: Kallista’s normal outfit for any occasion consists of simple long sleeved shirts and dresses, though the style and patterns can vary wildly. She isn’t fond of pants or skirts so she’ll never wear them if she has a choice. While her outfits can be fancy for the right occasion she normally prefers to stick with simple and effective clothing.

Accessories: She never goes ANYWHERE without applying a light layer of makeup first, eyeshadow, lipstick, mascara, etc. She also nearly always has a pair of earring in her lowest most head spikes, usually a pair of silver crosses that were a birthday gift from her mom. She also can be usually seen with a messenger or first aid bag with her on occasion.

Personality: Mature way, WAY beyond her years Kallista tends to act like a 25 year old womon rather then a 18 year old senior about to graduate. She’s calm, collected, in control, doesn’t let things get to her, and is always willing to try and help solve the problem at hand. She normally takes the role of the “Calm Sage” in whatever group she’s in, never letting the craziness get to her and always trying to help to the best of her abilities. She also is incredibly kind and gentle, taking the famous cliché of gardevoirs sacrificing themselves for the good of others and twisting it slightly. She’s willing to put to use all her time, energy, and effort to help people and make things better. This isn’t to say she runs around taking in every charity or hard luck case she finds, but she’s always willing to lend a hand, a shoulder to cry on, or any other kind of assistance when needed. Now with all these remarkably good traits you’d expect her to have a wonderful temperament… and you’d be half right. While in most cases she’s sweet and kind enough to make even the harshest mon lower their guards she has a one HELL of a temper, it just takes it a while to build. Once she reaches her breaking point though smart folks run for the hills and keep going. Her sweet smile remains but she becomes scary as HELL and more then capable of making you bark like a dog whenever you hear a bell for the rest of your life… if you’re lucky at least. Beyond this she has one easily noticeable personality quirk that destroys her appearance as a wise, kind, perfect girl. She has a HUGE raging cute fetish. The moment she sees something she considers adorable it takes all her will power NOT to squeal and start hugging it, cooing and gushing about how cute she considers it. She’ll also, in moments of weakness normally, seek to make things “Cuter” then they already are by various means… though when called on any of this she’ll blush and apologize.

History: Born the eldest daughter to well off battling coaches young Kallista grew up without wanting anything and more or less a happy normal girl. Through out her childhood she was normally treated as the “Nice Girl” the one that all the kids were friendly to and with, but nobody really was FRIENDS with. She went through most of her younger days drifting through life, studying to improve her psychic powers and mostly just going unnoticed. Eventually it came time for her to go to high school and her parents surprised her with the news that she’d been accepted into the PCA. Considering she’d never even considered this till they told her she’d been accepted it wasn’t exactly a welcome bit of news.

Either way Kallista found herself in the PCA and tried to more or less pick up where she’d left off from grade school… with rather mixed results. Currently in the battle program she found herself putting the psychic skills she’d spent so much time reading and honing to their first real power test in a long while. The results were surprising, even to her, as she found that while she wasn’t that good as a fighter (at least not right away) she had a gift for using her psychic abilities in new, creative, and admittedly a few rather scary ways. As she continued training her abilities continued to grow… as did her dissatisfaction with being in the battle program. Finally at the end of her Sophomore year she transferred to another Major, settling on the Medical one, specifically first aid and general healing. She had always wanted to help folks before, but thanks to her own introverted and quiet nature she’d never stepped up to try.

Using her ability to sense emotions and her exponential psychic powers she focused that into a form of therapy to help the mon she treated both physically and mentally. Calming and soothing them and easing the pain they were feeling psychically while she patched them up. She took to her new major and flourished, immensely enjoying her new work and throwing herself into her studies again… it was thanks to this talent for the course and her considerable knowledge that she was selected to help bring a new student up to speed, a miltank by the name of Maddie. Their friendship was near instantaneous as Kallista found herself enjoying the company of the sweet girl and Maddie enjoyed the company of the older, wiser gardevoir. Even after Maddie left the medical major to pursue other ones they remained close friends and Kallista proved to be more then happy to play “The Sane One” in Maddie’s little circle of friends.

Fighting Style: While she knew next to nothing about fighting when she first stepped into the arena Kallista quickly learned and even though she only steps back into the arena on occasion (she considers it training to help keep improving her powers even if she isn’t fond of the whole fighting aspect of it) she is still considered incredibly dangerous as far as special battlers go. She’s purely a ranged, special based fighter. This is her main and only strength in the arena and she’s improved it over the years to where it’s really the only thing she needs. Unless her opponent has an immunity to psychic attacks they’re in for a nasty fight as Kallista uses the few attacks she knows with DEVASTATING force. The real danger with her though is in the build up. Using Light Screen and Reflect to buffer and lighten any incoming attacks she’ll constantly use Calm Mind and Double Team raising her Special Attack, Special Defense, and Evasion as high as they can go. If the opponent hasn’t managed to take her out by this point now is the time to run away or duck and cover as she’ll start firing off full force Assist Power blast with enough strength behind them to knock most anyone clear out of the arena. Beyond that her usual tactic is the simple keep distance, use ranged attack, boost stat, repeat. In a pinch she’ll use her Teleport to get some distance and confuse and if really desperate she’ll use the Hypnosis and Dream Eater combo, but for the most part she keeps to a basic strategy. Though she has found pleasure in using telekinesis to lift an off guard opponent high into the air, she finds folks are less likely to be able to attack you effectively if they’re suddenly floating a good fifteen feet off the ground.

Miscellaneous Facts: She’s absolutely in LOVE with Team Pre-K! Both cause it means Maddie has finally found a Major she can enjoy doing and cause they’re cute beyond words. Her interactions with them normally consist of her spending a few minutes hugging and cooing each one (Sammi tried to kick her for this, but a comment about how pretty the little dragon was made her blush and mutter as she fidgeted in Kallista’s arms) and then acting more or less normal, usually still cuddling/cradling one of them. She more then happy to act as their medic on call for whenever they need any assistance and even keeps a well stocked supply of cartoon print Band-Aids and of course lollypops for them for after she finishes “Bandaging their boo-boos”

Dated a Zangoose guy for a while and it looked like things would work out… till she caught him making several inappropriate passes at several girls when he’d SAID he had to baby-sit his younger sister that afternoon when he’d canceled their date. It had taken coaxing from Maddie, Jean, and Charlotte to get her to undo what’d she’d done and the guy had a HECK of a lot of explaining to do since by then he’d gotten a full drag queen make-over including hair, face, clothes, and more… luckily nobody put the two together and since he didn’t SEE Kallista when she caught him he still has no clue why she broke up with him.

Understands that there are things that are just unacceptable to do with psychic powers and does her best to keep from abusing her gifts… but has a nasty, nasty habit of peeking in on people’s thoughts on occasion.

Has a deep love of cheesy romance novels and constantly tries to play matchmaker (especially if it’s a couple she considers “Cute”), but is smart enough to know when to help, when to back off, and when to just not get involved in the first place. Her recent breakup has only managed to make this little habit worse.
