Well, what the heck; here's a small preview of my WIP of my New Years Eve picture. This is the workings of Conall, and is the concentration of most of my trace work. However, three seperate images were used to create this; one for the head, one for the upper body, and a third for the legs. The fact that it's a compostion of three seperate and partial traces makes it feel slightly more original, as the composition is of my making.

As you can see, I haven't even gotten to coloring the pants, and I've been playing around to see if using Dodge and Burn could be used effectively for shading and highlights. It doesn't look too bad at the moment I suppose. I'm still a bit lose on how to make the muzzle look right, as that really one think a trace cant help me with, as there's only so much shape you can draw on something like that from a frontal view. Still, barring some detail work that needs to be done, I'm liking how the coat's turning out.

Feel free to pick it apart as you see fit, as well as offering helpful suggestions. I need all the help I can get.
