My recent habit of actually posting things here continues as I pull this out from the archives that is my documents.
Those who follow the transformation community might recognize this from a few things by the way of LtColonelWhipper, and there's a good reason for that. Namely that I was the one who originally drew this, as a grandiose amount of effort for reference material in one of our collaborative roleplay-focused explorations of a concept. Said concept being "imagine legendary Pokemon being turned into blimps", of course. He's held onto it, and indeed he was the first one to upload this piece on places elsewhere, but as far at this website is concerned, this is the original Dialga Blimp's debut.
It is also undoubtedly worth mentioning that this design has been more famously showcased by household name artist CrizBN in one of his popular sequences, as commissioned by LtColonelWhipper some time ago. Certainly is a notable honor for my work to have been redrawn by a more prolific and skilled creator than me, particularly before even letting myself go public with this content, but it's one I take happily. Another indirect 15 minutes of spotlight.
As for my own thoughts on this work, not much I can say, since it has been a long time since I drew this. Will note that I was rather proud of the "Time Lines" pun, which while arguably more fitting of a train or something, still works well enough for blimps (or zeppelins, depending on size or visible skeletal frames inside) doing passenger services. These things are always interesting histories, search up the Hindenburg or R101 whenever you get bored.
