I didn't undertand whats happening

the idea of a predspace is that after digestion the prey can still 'wander' about and enjoy themselves. However as they are fat being burned off through exercise would slowly make them cease to be until *poof* the prey is gone.

I had a similar idea once where reformation required pred fat to work, not necessarily the actual prey fat but they'd have to re-gain about an equivalent amount if they lost it, and how that becomes difficult if the pred is an active sort. Your depiction of a similar sort of concept is a really fun and cute one.

I have always liked the concept of sentient fat or other 'should be non-fatal' situations where reformation isn't as easy or simple as it seems without necessarily making it outright impossible to do wether it be due to a condition like this, requiring money or just taking the better part of an afternoon to do and just making it really easy to put off.
