Here's a panel from Volume 1 of the saga - Maec and Whip grudgingly repairing some damage to the orphanage docks... I like how the water came out here, you can see a swell on the way that drenches the characters in the next panel.

I don't really remember... The drawing probably took a few hours, then maybe like 4 - 6 hours in photoshop on the water... I remember it did taek awhile, I did some smudging around on the colors below the water to try and make it look wavy, like where the rope goes in 'n stuff.
Oh, yay, you found the creature! Yeah, he's just kinda hanging out up there... Wouldn't it be weird if those existed all around us in daily life, but humans just never noticed because they're too well hidden? And, evidently they would implode upon death to leave no remains...
