Sunflower and Plums reconciled in the Old Western AU. With some work and regained trust they stick together now. Sunflower ain't walking out on that kid ever again, even without the threat of everyone kicking his arse if he dares to.
A tough journey for the guarded automaton to allow himself to open up and just admit he cares for someone. The fear of loss always there, but the situation is different from what he went through in the past. And ya can't just break a kid's heart like that, you owe them the world more than anything. He still has some making up to do, but Plums' faith in him has been restored.
So glad when things have a happy ending (until next angst heavy story line, ohohoho)
