Vincent knelt in the snow, frostbitten fingers curling against the compact flakes ad fat ones pregnant from the nights rain floated down from murky grey clouds on to his naked figure each new one sending shivers through his slender body.
Tears rolled over his cheeks which quickly froze in the frosty air as he reached for the black lump half buried in the snow- the cellphone he had been holding a few hours ago before he blacked out- yet nowhere to be seen were his clothes or other possessions.
He flipped it open and hit number one on speed dial listening to the familiar buzz of the dial tone. His eyes wandered to dark bruises resembling fingers that stained his thigh. New rivulets plopping in to the snow beneath him boring small holes in the dirty ground. He breathes a soft sigh of relief when he heard someone pick up at the other end.
"Vincent where the hell have you be-"
".. I don't know... just come get me... it's cold and I'm scared..."
