Been ages since I last drew a Dragon character. A bunch of months ago, I had played Hexen, a very good game I urge you to feast your eyes on !
I used one of the decorative gargoyles as a reference for this picture. Normally the gargoyle stands on a skull but I replaced it with the Chaos Sphere, which is one of the ultimate goals of the game.
The background is based on the ending image of the PC version I played, though I tried to make it much darker in order to make it more ominous and Halloween-like :p
Hardest part was the Pedestal on which my character stands. since I cannot draw detailed rocks, I decided to draw it damaged just for the sake of it <_<
