I really like that middle panel it took quite a bit to get it right but i like how relaxed they both look and then how concerned they both are.

Can grantee the greater majority of your viewers won't even notice. Most of us are too invested in the overarching story to look for those little details most of the time. Dunno if I ever said this before but I absolutely /love/ how this story's been coming along, and it's been an absolute joy to see it progress and to watch you grow from it. <3
Shine from Martin and Kim's perspective must be insanely funny XD Star is just this person who has thirty cars all simultaneously crashing into her before she stumbles out and gives them a grin with missing teeth and a thumbs up. One moment she's being blackmailed and the next she's had to come out to her roommate over her babyside.
Truthfully this really isn't all that far off from when I was around 23/24 years old. My twenties were a frikkin car wreck and so much shit happened in such a short space of time that to Marin at the time who was 10 years older than me he musta been like "WTF is actually going on???" And yet still helped me out, rather than running for the hills.
Aww, Martin and Kim are instantly willing to give up a... couch? Spare room? Not sure what they have, but they're awesome for offering it without any hesitation.
I imagine they'll be quite happy when they learn that it's not needed, even if they may decide to swing around in a day or to meet their little poppet's housemate. You know, just for safety.

Probably Haley's old room, we saw it when Star slept in there before.
And Marten has 'met' Ellie (the Rolling Pin Incident), and Ellie ofc has seen both Marten and Kim live, but a proper chat over tea would be very cute. Maybe get Lure (and Manda) in so the Adults can talk without being disturbed by the kids.

Ah, fair, I had forgot about Haley's old room.
They've met in passing, yes, but a "proper" meeting (where they actually talk and exchange dialogue) might be a bit beneficial. Not only to clear the air between Ellie and Martin, but also just because it might be nice for someone with a bit more "experience", as it were, to talk to Ellie about all this. Star knows what it's like for her, but she's still new to all this, so someone that can answer Ellie's more "in depth" questions wouldn't go amiss.
And yes, would maybe be cute to offer Ellie a "demonstration", if Star is amiable to the idea.

The joke I remember is that a pirate captain, whenever a battle seemed imminent, would send one of his men to "Get my red shirt!" One day, a man asked him why he did this when a fight was brewing, and he said, "I would not want my men to see me bleeding and lose heart in the battle."
Soon after this happened, he looked through his spyglass and saw an armada bearing down on them, and he called out, "A battle comes! Fetch my brown pants!"
(Hopefully,he had someone bring him some pampers instead!)

The look of Martin and Kim with the 'oh no busted face' makes me chuckle some.
Granted I been caught with stuff thanks to my dog as well >3> but that's dogs for you, they get into stuff and so does kitties.
Last time the car ran out with a pacifier from my room and I had to explain it lol

The immediate change from relaxed to concerned was amazing. I loved it. Though, I can't help but point out that the Rubik's cube in the background is illegal (assuming it follows the standard color scheme). You can't have a corner with both blue and green, because they are on opposite faces of the cube. Same with red and orange. You also can't have a red and red edge piece, because there is only 1 red face. I know Iโm the only one to care about that, but whatever. Still an amazing comic.
I cant see the original comment... But like, there is a lot to compare between the two things honestly.
And on the not bein accepted... Neither were any social outcasts not much longer than half a century ago.
Times change and folks change and ppl can and do grow more acceptin of very different others.
Im publicly an ABDL, for me its all lifestyle stuff not sexual so i dress the part always and when around folks i trust im likely to act more childish; and regardless of where i am, i call my mommy (he/they pronouns) my mommy bcuz pet names are fine and thats all it is.
And yanno wut? No one IRL has ever harassed me for walkin around in onesies and shortalls with a paci clipped on, if not also in my motuh if im outside cuz noisyness so i need to stim to keep from overwhelm, and a stuffy under arm in my purse. Not to mention the obvs diaper bulge (still covered ofc tho, cuz i dont just show undies to others in public).
In fact, irl im much more likely to get compliments on how cute or adorable my outfits are or my stuffys and even have had several folks politely ask if they cud take a picture of me bcuz of my outfits. Ive had many folks who i know threw LARP groups, leftist groups, or just thru friends of friends, who have asked me about ABDL stuff and listened to me and learned. Many of whom have even told me i helped change their mind on this by refutin the biases and assumptions they had from the fearmongered stuff theyd heard otherwise.
My own mommy even used to be anti-ABDL before meetin me and gettin to know me and his first questions to me were the usual ones wantin to know more about this whole baby thing i got goin on.
That to me is a large part of why i think these things are so comparable. Bein trans im often met with fearmongered bias and assumptions, usually the exact same ones of fears of "grโกโกming kids" and "bein prโกdators" and all the rest. That specific kind of fearmongerin is used against prty much everyone who isnt alike to the majority tho. It doesnt matter if theyre antikink or antiqueer or antiblack folks or anythin else; they always drum up that same fear.
Thats one way in which these struggles all compare, and i feel that aknowledgin that comparison proves even more intersectional as it shows how sometimes similar hate is levied at us but for different excuses.
But also, bein trans is so much about being your authentic self and while that often means comin out it doesnt have to; plenty of trans ppl only come out to themself and thats still okay. Its simply about embracin ones authentic self however works for them. In the same way, bein an ABDL, or any kind of little, is about acceptin oneself and emrbacin ones authentic self; even if only on their own in secret.
And in both cases, the hate towards us is merely cuz we are authentically ourselves and others cannot fathom allowing such.

I love their response here and can imagine multiple folks i know who wud have responded much the same if i ever told them somethin like this before i was completely out to everyone.
I did actually have the roommare discovers secret happen to me but he had his own "weird" kinks and didnt press the issue at all and we left things alone after that one awkward moment.
