Just to clear up any confusion real quick, this is the final "plot twist" if you will, of the story, the fact that Kaos, did indeed- come back on purpose for something similar to what Knightmare is suggesting.
Basically Kaos after the events of "Kaos Contained" a short sister comic to this series, his mind began to wonder~ like- many curiosities popping into his head, also the intensity of Knightmare was something he somewhat enjoyed "from an almost villainy kinda standpoint" Not like he's made in love with her or anything.
In how Kaos entertains Knightmare, Knightmare also entertains Kaos ;)
