———Story Starts Here———

Today was the day that Matt had been waiting for, it was the day his new VR Headset would arrive. He had been excited to finally try out VR for the first time, hearing a knock at his front door Matt rushed out of his room to go answer it. Opening the door Matt was greeted by a delivery man “I Have A Package Here For A Matt Lewis” “That’s Me” grabbing the package Matt immediately took it upstairs to get it set up. After plugging everything in Matt put the headset on, as the headset began to boot up Matt couldn’t contain his excitement.

After the headset finally turned on Matt started looking at the different programs he could try, but one in particular caught his eye ‘Animal Simulator? What’s That?’ Deciding to give it a go Matt pressed it. All of a sudden text started to appear on his screen -Welcome To Animal Simulator The Only Game That Let’s You Take A Walk On The Wild Side For The Best Experience Please Remove All Footwear, Then Select An Animal And Finally Go On All Fours For The Best Experience- deciding to follow the instructions Matt removed his socks, then he looked through the choices available.

Having trouble picking one Matt decided to go with Random the animal Komodo Dragon appeared on his screen so Matt then made his way down to all fours. New text appeared -Komodo Dragon Simulation Activate- and suddenly through his VR headset Matt found himself on a beach it almost felt like he was actually there. As he started to explore his surroundings Matt felt like something was trapped in the back of his pants pulling them down slightly managed to fix the problem but what Matt failed to realise was that he was growing a tail.

As Matt was looking around he had the uncontrollable urge to stick his tongue out as his did his tongue became forked. Still trying to figure out what to do next Matt felt his gut rumble, pausing the simulation Matt got up and decided to make his way to the kitchen. As he was walking to the kitchen his new tail started to lengthen further and his gut started rounding out. Finally getting to the kitchen Matt started looking for food all of a sudden his forked tongue exited his mouth and he tasted something irresistible opening the fridge Matt found a raw steak.

Staring at the steak Matt’s teeth started to turn razor sharp. Loosing himself for a few seconds Matt devoured the raw steak instantly, snapping out of it Matt decided to go back upstairs and continue his simulation. Entering his bedroom again Matt was about to put the headset back on when all of a sudden a new thought entered his brain ‘why am I wearing clothes if I want to truly experience this simulation I don’t need clothes’ taking of his clothes Matt got back down onto all fours and placed the headset back on and unpaused the simulation.

As the simulation started up again Matt’s legs began to bend and shrink while his feet grew razor sharp claws. Scales started traveling up his body as they were about to get to his arms Matt’s bedroom began to change, first his floor became sand while the for walls of his room faded away revealing a tropical forest on one side and the sea on another and his ceiling disappeared to reveal a clear blue sky. All of a sudden Matt’s arms started to shorten and bend while being covered in scales and his hands started to grow razor sharp claws matching his feet. “Thissssss Sssssssimulation Isssssss Awessssssome, It’sssssss Almossssssst Like I’m Really On A Beach!” Not noticing the changes in his voice Matt continued playing.

That’s when Matt started to feel a major pain in his skull, first his hair fell out as scales started to cover his scalp, then his ears receded leaving only holes on the sides of his head and finally his face stretched out into a reptilian snout. As the scales finished covering his newly changed head a final message appeared on his VR headset -Thank You For Trying Out Animal Simulation And We Hope You Enjoy Your New Life- and with that the Headset just vanished in a puff of smoke. Looking around Matt realised he was on a beach and he couldn’t get back on two legs.
‘Why Would You Need To Be On Two Legs You Have Four?’ A random voice in his head asked.
‘I Am A Human I Walk On Two Legs’ Matt thought back in response.
‘You’re A Komodo Dragon Not A Human, If You Were A Human What’s Your Name?’ The voice inquired.
‘Easssssy My Name Isssssssss Ma………..? What’sssssss Name?……… Wait What I Thinking About? Food? Yesssssss Food Mussssst Hunt Prey’ and just like that the Komodo Dragon wandered off letting out the occasional Hiss while looking for prey to hunt or potentially find a suitable mate to raise its offspring.
