This is a birthday sketch I made for Marcus
MarcusHunter on his birthday today.
One of the things that crossed my mind about this series is what would happen if the characters the Succubi turn into actually shows up and meets them, and how would the Succubi react to meeting them, especially for someone like Queen. Who's literally a rich Succubus that likes to turn into the more classy and more well off animals. Though after meeting the real Sweetie, she just wishes the girl really is a fictional character and nothing more.
Sweetie being the one-track minded thief she is, just assumes that Queen from her very codename for Leader's game is her actual title and herself a future version of her. She won't stop asking how her older Succubus twin came to be known as Queen. Even when Queen told her that her name is actually her codename, Sweetie brushes this off and just says that Queen is always a nickname, it's just that it's a nickname that means something.
So Queen does everything she can to prove she isn't Sweetie from the future, by trying to show that the castle isn't real, where the "castle" is really set at, and even demonstrating her transformation powers. But Sweetie just assumes that these are all things she will "eventually" get in the future. Hence we are led to this picture here. At least Queen is being considerate enough to NOT explain to her what a Succubus actually does to a little puppy like Sweetie.
The thing is Sweetie isn't even real in the first place in Queen's world, she's a cartoon character, but the fact that not only is she somehow real and badgering her with weird questions, Queen is having trouble how she even GOT THERE in the first place. Considering where they are, no mortal being shouldn't even be able to reach, fiction or real. But somehow, someway, Sweetie exists now and won't leave the poor demon alone.
While I'm proud of the size I made Queen, I think I messed up when drawing Sweetie. Since drawing big things isn't my forte, I definitely messed up on the size dynamic between the two. Sweetie looks like a proper puppy size to Queen's dog size adult body. But the thing is that Paw Patrol Puppies are normally pretty large for puppies in the first place and I kinda wanted to get the dynamic that they Queen is only just A LITTLE BIT bigger than Sweetie in the first place and that they're both pretty large dogs when compared to humans.
It was only after I finish drawing her that I realized my mistake because I couldn't find a way to draw her big enough to be petty large for a puppy but not larger than Queen. But it's only in my physical paper that it looks like Sweetie is much bigger than your average puppy. They just look like they're proper dog sizes, which doesn't help that I think Marcus said that Sweetie is supposed to be a breed of dog that doesn't really get that much bigger when they get older in the first place. So I guess I messed up in trying to show that, but I'm not sure how I'm supposed to show that well, without redrawing Sweetie so many times, which will definitely mess up the paper.
Anyway, I hope you like it Marcus, despite not getting their sizes right I still like the way I drew them for the most part and it's a good simple picture of their dynamic if they ever meet. Happy Birthday Marcus.
