This is very nicely done! And your conversation with Helix has helped explain some gender confusion I've had when trying to speak Russian to native speakers, interesting. Edited to add, online by text I mean, its pretty obvious when physically talking to someone and they can hear your voice.
I once tried to learn Russian but gave up because it didn't sound correct in my head, turns out the book I was using was based on the Moscow dialect which has its own peculiarities apparently.

I also dont think that they have their special dialect (at least I didnt notice that when I was in Moscow :D), maybe some their own words/jargon, but I dont think its something about the usual rules of the language :)
