Thank you so so much my friend. I've been practicing a lot since my last work, so I've learned a lot between then and now. This was my first time doing a forest and a river, so it means a lot that you like it! I very much agree, I do need a few good bulges along my coils, heheh!
Why thank you Passy, that really means a lot. Yes, I did make this, all of it. I may not post very often, but I do a lot of practice in between so I can do better on my next major piece. Each one has some kind of focus, here it was texturing, so stuff like scales and other materials like the water, bark, and grass I really went all out on.
Thank you! I did my best to balance that, making sure to retain the form underneath while also giving it the additional texture of the scales. As you prolly know, details aren't everything, what makes something look good and solid is if you get the underlying shapes and forms accurate, lighting them as well. After that the details are simply secondary.
