Yet another pair of characters from the story.

Zoey is the Talon's captain. She bears a confident and professional air about her, seemingly always remaining calm and collected, while sporting a pleasant and friendly attitude. However, deep inside Zoey is not quite as confident as she might seem. Before becoming a captain of Raptor's Talon, she was a captain on a large luxurious yacht, and never had to face any real danger. While she has skills necessary to keep the crew working, she lacks any real combat experience, and does not know herself if she can manage a in a real combat situation. Still, as the Captain of the ship, she has to hide her fears and insecurity not tu undermine the morale of the crew.

Carli is one of the security officers of the ship. She is tough, she is mean, and she knows how to kick ass. Sometimes, however, she can be a bit too mean, and has a slight sadistic streak. Often she would team up with Mallory to harass and torment some other crew members. These two seem to be at odds with the ship's gunners, Javris and Talona. Still, Carli does not go out of the line, and respects the chain of command.
