Of course, it is perfectly normal not to expect this, for in the mainstream, real world, most people respect and hold in awe the gigantic predators of both real prehistory and legend so vastly superior in strength and abilities than the insignificant human viewer. This is why franchises like Jurassic Park/World and Game of Thrones/House of the Dragon are so incredibly popular with literally millions and millions of fans due to their portrayal mighty Theropod dinosaurs and dragons. The notion that these awesome predators could be overcome single-handedly by some tiny human or other creature is largely dismissed these days as just childish fairy tale nonsense which no adult could possibly take seriously. The huge dragon in this sequence would be regarded as a 'god' all over the ancient Asian world, though I guess there is some tiny, fantasy niche of people turned on by this no matter how inconceivable to nearly everyone else. I find such well executed artwork and writing entertaining as well (including this one), but always envision it as a mere "dream sequence" of the tiny wannabe predator or 'monster slayer' as the laws of basic biology make such things impossible in reality. I too will want to see the rest of this series but would never imagine it as something that could ever actually happen with such a disparity in pred to prey size.
