I did this doodle to address some things that are bothering me lately, first let me address the smooth brained edgelords, no I don't get offended or triggered by the word futanari, also I dont consider it a slur and even if I considered it a slur, I believe reclaiming slurs is way better than censoring/outlawing them, because it castrates the power of bigots of any kind.
And no I have no intention of hostilizing other artists or clients who use these terms but are sincere in their support of trans rights.
BUT
I've been noticing a very unsavory trend lately, I noticed a lot of self proclaimed "futanari artists" are really sus or downright shitty, specially the ones who draw mostly humans, they may present an apolitical facade on their pages but when you go to their likes you see the kind of vile personalities they endorse, I'm talking pieces of shit like: LibsofTikTok, Ben Shappiro, StoneToss, Matt walsh, the Quartering and the list goes on in summary a bunch of really transphobic cockroaches.
Not just that, but for some reason futanari artwork tend to attract a lot of alt-right worms, and I'm not a big fan of that, I want to purge these people from my surroundings, for a long time I was too welcoming to unsavory people, I did commissions, requests and stuff to awful people and I regret it deeply, I was neutral and tolerant of things I shouldn't because I was more concerned to be polite than to be honest.But fuck this, I rather go broke than go quiet! this is a pivotal moment for LGBTQ rights, if there is a moment to be loud and aggressive it's now and I'm not talking just about direct activism, every small effort counts! we have to make our spaces the most hostile and unsavory as possible to bigots specially in platforms where we have more control like here,there's no middle ground with these people, they sometimes try to sound intellectual and reasonable, but don't fall for this illusion like I used to do, if we let them get ground they will keep pushing us away, they don't want to coexist.
In conclusion: THERE'S NO FUTAS HERE ONLY TRANS PEOPLE and ALTRIGHT/TRUMPTARDS/NAZI/BOLSOMINION FURRIES ARE NOT WELCOME HERE! I don't care what label,excuse or euphemism you use to justify your transphobia (or any other form of bigotry), you are a piece of shit and I don't like you!I don't care if you like my stories, bought commissions or was planning to buy, I don't want and I dont NEED your money or support. And yes I will keep being loud and annoying about it even if it plummets my popularity, every drawing and story I wrote in the last months had and will have a jab against you and everything you believe.
Btw Futanari is just the term rightoids use to cope with the fact they are horny for trans women. :U
also , I just remembered there's also a lot of gay/bi artists who are going with the "trans people are pushing things way too further and making things harder for us" discourse, don't fall for it, these boot lickers are helping people that will eventually turn on them too, trans people are the target right now...but not the only target.
"you are doing it for clout/money" no I'm not, these are my sincere beliefs, this is the hill I'm choosing to die on, also if I wanted money all I had to do is make youtube videos complaining about women existing in videogames or some stupid shit like that, also, if you observe carefully the most financially successful artists are the ones that pretend politics don't exist and serve any paying customer...quite the opposite of my strategy.
Also there is the "then for no reason people voted Hitler in to power" don't fall for that either, they are trying to blame us for their sadistic desires, they are trying to justify their deep seated hatred with lies, they will vote for a "Hitler" regardless of what we do.
As a very last note, if you are LGBTQ and you have the means to acquire firearms, you should do that (preferably legally), what you believe about gun control doesn't matter now, those who hate us will not hold their punches and we have to respond in the same coin, any peashooter can make the difference, but if you can acquire anything semi auto with a large magazine, great! this is not the time to hold false virtues, this is the moment to hold your ground!
Technical addendums:
- My stories have some non orthodox biology, and some characters will have uncharacteristic genitals and mixed gendered characteristics from birth and stuff, but I will put them in the trans bucket because cool people don't mind and they are not heteronormative anyway.
- I totally gonna use this pose for a serious lore drawing later, it's too good to use just for this. XD

A few days ago when femboys were trending on Twitter, I went on to see the stuff. Aaaaaaaaaaaaand found a page calling itself "Gays against Gr00mers." This booklicking sac of shit was hijacking the trend to spout "JuSt CaZ thEEr JenDUr-N0nCun4Mng DuzZnT MEen THeaR TraNZ!" and other transphobic nonsense. Like, fuck off. I wanted to tell them where to shove their anti-trans bullshit, but then remembered: 1) This a crazy person; they do not behold themselves to logic, and 2) Just like the LGB Alliance, they'll just move to the next part of the community once they've had their way with trans people. This group will move on to femboys and other GNC people; probably make the claims, "ThAiR TrI-EeNg 2 MayK TrAnZZZz NorMaLL!!!" and then keep moving on. So I just moved the fuck on.
I have no respect for respectability politics: you can never please people who already hate you; playing along means they can just keep pulling your strings forever and deliver nothing but made-up-on-the-spot bullshit reasons to continue denying. Change comes through force. Remember: first pride was a riot.

Same reason I insist on it not being used for me or my characters. There's a lot of "futanari" spaces that unironically shitpost "ok predditor", "groomer" and "bridget is a man" stuff.
Also yes, arm the queers and the minorities. I'll trust gun control laws when they're not invariably used as a weapon to disarm marginalized groups or when the police can be at my house fast enough to handle Bubba up the road deciding he's gonna do something about my trans flag

I don't doubt it, I've seen it, in fact this drawing/manifesto was brewing on my head for quite a while since I began to notice it, specially among rightoid puritans I had contact, dudes in full on coomer mode thirsting over clearly intersex characters done by trans artists, then 5 minutes later trash talking these same artists and mocking their daily struggles,or even worse, artists who draw primarily literal trans characters taking time of their day to debate on twitter why trans rights are a mistake.
I hope you can still appreciate people who genuinely want to support you, and love what you've put time and dedication into. Most of these words I don't understand, nore do I want to say them if they can be crude, or hateful to someone else. I only recently found your work, and I genuinely admire it. But I can't stand the people I admire feel negative, or angry. I do hope these things go away, so can find peace.
My way to say things is inflammatory and energetic but it is targeted, or at least I try to make it targeted, I know there's a lot of well meaning people that are completely oblivious to any of the things I mentioned, and I have no intention of hostilizing neutral individuals.
This got me thinking on another issue people have with "Futa" and "Herm": it can be used to degrade and fetishize not only trans people, but intersex people as well. A few intersex friends of mine have put up the idea of the term "Altersex" being used in art, though I don't remember the exact details. The conversation was a decent while ago.
People have been confused by herm especially being seen as wrong, but they understood as I tell that language grows and changes just like anything else. Words have numerous meanings and take new meanings depending on the times: language is a construct as fluid as water.

If a better term cannot be found/created and popularized in the next years, I really hope "herm" gets reclaimed and washed off the bad connotations it may have, I use this one a lot to describe some of my characters and I'm hoping it don't give bad vibes like "futanari" does.

Futanari in the fictional context aren't really the same thing as trans people regardless of any political issues, so it makes complete sense to say you're drawing trans people and not futa. Futa, as I've encountered the term, are pretty much always presented as cis women who happen to have penises, which makes for some weird cases I've seen where a newborn with a penis is somehow correctly known from the beginning to be a she and not a he. That... as a genderqueer person is actually weirdly affirming even if I have no idea how it would work, but it's not how trans people work IRL, and what's affirming to some people is the opposite for others. So, yeah. Different thing, and the political issue is an additional reason to make sure the line is solid.
Honestly, I don't even think that futanari and trans are the same thing and I don't get why people think they are since there's a pretty big difference: futanari are born as women with dicks while trans people have to transition to get their ideal body. Trans women could technically look like futanari but if they're not born with that body then they're not futanari.
