Mia couldn’t believe it! She had finally made it after a long and grueling time playing up the right folks and calling in many favors, she had made it to the party; the talk of the town and the biggest bash all year! Lots of folks did some crazy things like staying in haunted houses all night or sleeping outside in the woods and while the young woman didn’t have to do anything that crazy, only giving up a few nights of extra time at work, she was happy to be going, taking some time to order her costume.
The costume contests at these parties were legendary, the creme de la creme of rewards and costumes were gonna be there so Mia had to look her best! As she hit the final button on her order, she smiled a bit. This was a bit over her price range but if she believed the rumors of the prizes associated with this contest.. it was more than enough to more than set her up for life.
Closing her laptop and sighing happily, Mia noted the time and reached over to her nightstand, grabbing the small envelope she had received a few days prior. The stiff, professional feeling card inside cordially welcoming her to the Grandole mansion, one of the oldest buildings in the whole country. There was no end to the rumors about the place; from a family of vampires, to ghosts still running the place.
Hugging the letter close to her chest, she set it aside and flicked her light off. Laying down and letting sleep take her, she had dreams of the many adventures she was sure to have.
As the day of the party was soon upon her, she smiled and ran her hands gently over herself examining the mirror. Her head was encased in a cute frilly bonnet, the pink lace surrounding her face causing a bit of tunnel vision, the gigantic bib tied around her neck pink and emblazoned with ‘Mommy's Girl’ on it.
To top it off, the big expense of her outfit was the gigantic, thick diaper adorned on her hips. The pure white diaper with thick yellow tapes reminded her of a cartoon in her youth, giggling a bit thinking of her favorite episode centering around toy mice on their carpets.
After her reverie, she looked a bit further past the large diaper down to her thickly bootied feet, the plush socks cradled her feet gently and as she smiled and squished her toes inside of them, she gave a quaint little sigh.
"Y’know some of these might be staying a part of my house clothes, these are some comfy slippers~"
Giggling a bit more to herself, she took a glance at the clock making sure to nab her purse and head out to her car, following the instructions she found on the back of her note.
When she arrived, the girl had to admire the architecture before her. The large house was built at least two centuries ago, large pillars adorned a gigantic porch and as she walked up the drive she saw many other costumed people making their way inside.
Presenting her invitation to the bouncer outside, she handed it over as well as her purse as was customary for these sorts of events, to lock valuables away both for herself and the proprietor's protection.
As she waddled her way through the party, getting more than a few instances of ‘Aww how cute~’ and more than a few giggles with offers to take the baby home.
As odd as it was, Mia found herself looking around the large ballroom the main party was located in. The large opulent furniture and food dishes were laid out on tables and as Mia was grabbing a plate and eyeing the spread before her, she heard a voice behind her.
"Well well well, isn't all this stuff a bit big for you? Sure I can't get you a bottle or maybe have the staff puree some of this stuff?"
Turning to the new voice Mia was met with, as best she could describe, was a fursuit and a damn good one too. The purple fur along with the blue and pink hair, she was staring down an anthropomorphic rabbit, though ahead of her long ears were two stereotypical alien-like antennae. She extended a hand… well paw… as Mia reached out to take it, wrapping her hand around it as best she could.
"Ha ha he, very funny. Maybe I'll get you some carrots or some veggies to eat, Miss Rabbit."
The rabbit giggled and nodded, grabbing her own plate. Starting to fill it up with some very strange looking foods; some sort of purple looking meat, as well as some red cabbage.
As her plate was filled, her new friend led the diapered girl over to a small table, taking a seat as she started eating. Taking a seat next to her, she tilted her head a bit inquisitively.
"Wouldn't it be easier to eat if you took your head off.. Miss?"
The rabbit's ears twitched as she stopped munching her meal to giggle, a bit looking contemplative before shrugging her shoulders.
"Meh it's fine. My name's Melody by the way… you should eat before it gets cold dear, the event is gonna start soon. It's nearly midnight."
Taking a look at a nearby clock, Mia noted it was indeed pretty late. As she started to eat her food she gasped; the meal was completely perfect, the meat melting in her mouth, the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese were perfectly creamy and filling. By the time she was fully finished, Mia groaned a small bit, feeling her stomach full to bursting.
"I guess I'll need to get ready… umm do you know where I should go to get ready?"
The rabbit woman smiled, her teeth glinting a bit under her very lifelike mask, shaking her head before leaning back in her seat.
"Nah, supposedly they are going to pick people out of the crowd and go from there. I'm sure you'll get picked and I dunno if you heard this but…"
Leaning in close, she was right next to Mia's ear. She felt the hot breath, smelled her oddly sweet scent as she whispered into the girl's ear.
"The winner is going to get something truly life changing. Honestly, I think you've got a shoe in to win.. well a bootie at least, what’re you hoping for?"
Mia got a thoughtful look on her face, what DID she want? Her dead end job and prospects here were drying up, there was only one thing on her mind.
"Honestly? I wanna get out of this place, really just get to see it all and explore the world and beyond."
Melody's eyes widened a bit upon hearing this, clapping her paws together as she pumped her fist in a very excitable gesture.
Scoffing a bit, Mia looked around at all the different costumes; vampires, werewolves, zombies, and even things like ghosts and witches were all around, your typical fare. As the clock chimed over she jumped and, as if in unison, the whole room turned to face the back.
A large curtain started to rise and on a stage stood a rather large woman dressed in what Mia could only assume was a genie or djinn get-up, complete with a large jeweled crown, with many pillows all around her. Her long arms gestured to the back wall where three pictures sat in view.
One of them was indeed Mia in her bonnet and diaper alongside someone dressed up like the Swedish chef from the Muppets and another dressed as a dog, though it wasn't some full on fursuit like Melody's outfit. Mia found it a bit suspicious, considering the cheap dollar store costume wasn't anything special compared to the rest.
"It looks like we've got our finalists for the contest everyone! These three will have their wildest dreams come true. Based on their beautiful costumes and their stay here so far, our first winner and third place is Mister Kenneth McCormick! This wonderful chef wants to help feed the world as he told all his beautiful friends. His wish is granted~"
As she said this, Mia looked around as a large light was shown down as a spotlight on the chef. He was currently sitting at a table of generic looking vampires all smiling happily, as they seemed to suddenly turn and descend upon the man, his screams filling the room with the hungry sound of gnashing teeth.
"Wha… What the hell?! Did… did they just kill Kenneth?!"
Standing up Mia started to make her way away from the table only to be grabbed by Melody’s soft, furry paw. Her blue eyes staring into Mia's green ones as she gently tugged her back.
"Take your seat hun, you don't want to know what happens to winners who try to leave before they are called to take their winnings."
Shocked at her now firm words, Mia took a seat, her diaper crinkling, though after that display it was understandably quite wet. The vampires returned back to their seats after a time, covered in gristle and gore after their ample feast.
Her attention was brought to a much closer spotlight, shining just a few tables away on the dog person, she too looked on in horror at the carnage that had unfolded.
"Susan Barker, congratulations on 2nd place! Your wish was to lose some of those pesky responsibilities; well my dear, your wish is gonna be granted."
As she spoke, from the shadows behind the spotlight stood a humongous, gigantic sasquatch looking creature. Its smile widened as it clicked a thick leash around her neck, grabbing and lifting her out of the chair causing the girl to let out a squeak. Mia watched as hair… no… fur seemed to grow from the exposed skin, her once cheap outfit seeming to fuse against her until a large doglike woman was howling and whining, kicking her legs. Before she was able to scream, her mouth was jammed full of dog biscuits, her eyes glazing over as she started to chew them absent-mindedly.
"And finally…"
KACHUNK
The light enveloped her, Mia blushed brightly feeling the sagging diaper beneath her legs, the bonnet covering her vision as she felt as if all the eyes in the room were on exclusively her.
"Well well, we have quite a cutie here and winning first place too! That gets you an extra special reward~ From what I know dear you wanna get out of this place, really just get to see it all and explore the world and maybe even more, isn’t that right?"
Hearing her own words spoken back at her Mia teared up, looking towards the bunny next to her, the now alien costume looking much less like a costume then before. She felt severely overwhelmed, a panic set in as she looked for any out. She needed to escape, to leave, to run away from this place at all costs!
Those were the last thoughts she had however as her heart rate spiked, her head felt quite dizzy and she lost consciousness as the last words of the genie rang through her head.
"Your wish is granted."
The first thing she noticed as she woke up was how cold everything felt. Opening her eyes, she saw sleek blue metal above her hanging above a cage she found herself in, made of the same metal.
Her eyes adjusted to the room around her as she saw more constructs all the same blue metal differing shapes. As she stood up to get a better look around her, she spotted a window and her eyes widened.
Darkness. Pitch black darkness. As she watched and looked through the large window she saw it. She could hardly believe her eyes.
The Earth.
Hanging before her, just outside of this window was her home, her planet and as she did so she could feel her mind racing. The shock of it all caused her body to go into overdrive, the back of her diaper filling and as the weight hit her she fell back with a squishy warm smush.
Her eyes teared up and she started wailing, pinching her arm hoping to wake up from this horrible dream. A door opened on the other side of the room, in hopping the large bunny she had shared dinner with before. The silly green antennae was now gone, though the rest of her body, her real body, was the same purple furred bunny, Melody. As she approached the crib, her nose started to twitch as she looked down to the crying girl.
"My my, smells like my little kitten needs a change before we head home. Congratulations my dear, you've won the new life you desired~"
