A brown peilican hangs out at the end of an old wooden pier, waiting for the fishing trawlers and their wonderfully fresh-caught fishies.
Unearthed this from an ancient (1997) art folio, cropped the ever-loving heck out of it, refreshed the old anemic inks with varied lineweights, attacked it with Prismacolor markers, then marker-shaded it and went nuts with my favorite white-painty pen. (Said pen is now dead, poor thing. I must find this brand again, it if fabulous for cloud-painting...)
The finished product is approximately 4x6 (perhaps 5x7), and will be matted and framed as part of this year's holiday beach gear.
The original, uncropped version can be found here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/854554/
(My apologies to Seabunny; I still like her, but between bad anatomy and a mystery colorblot, couldn't salvage her. Also she wouldn't have fit in with the rest of the beach house offerings...)
