The mobile home is a primarily American concept made possible by automobiles and highways. They are often sited in land lease communities (known as trailer parks) which require large plots of land. The idea of stacking mobile-homes in a purpose-built structure is not new, as shown by this list of a few projects in this theme.

This concept aims to use as small a footprint as possible. I initially envisioned a non-radial arrangement to improve the view from the windows on the long side of the homes, but the long aspect ratio of mobile homes made it less compact.
