The light and shading, and the added glow from the fire is so good. I really love the way you worked with the colors, too, and the level of detail in her wings and the way they add a balance to the picture. It's always impressive to me how you work with these big wings and avoid covering up too much or work them into the image and they frame things. I absolutely love the metallic sheen and bits, too. They make such a hot mare look so cool. I will not apologize for that pun.
But this is absolutely lovely. And that wink is just perfect. You do such a great job even with these important little details; big and clear enough to catch the eye, never too huge, or in the wrong place. That realism makes it so much more appealing. Beautiful work on a dangerously-lovely mare.
