Well, yesterday I got two rather wonderful surprises, one from
matugi, http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4955331 (which is also the icon here!) and another (unrelated to this submission, but equally wondrous!) by
thefarewelled, http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4956580 (luteboards forever!)
Anyway, I was working on a little gift for Matugi, and I decided to finish it up at double tempo after I saw that wonderful picture, it's based on his character Ohm, and the many slightly unfortunate misadventures he happens to always get himself in. Of course, it's very stylized renaissance styled lute music, so it's a bit hard to tell (look out for the odd trills that don't really fit!).
Then, here's the sweet part (at 3:00), there's the serenade, with
verathevixand I, it's not what I used to sing to her when I used to do this... we cheated and just sang an English folk song, because no-one here wants to hear mushy wooshy love songs, I'm sure! (the picture is absolutely wondrous for this! (we're using a lighter, more 'traditional' register to sing this, which is very different from the operatic 'bel canto' voice!)
And then, you can hear me moving to the piano for the last song, which is from Somervell's 'A Shropshire Lad'
The street sounds to the soldiers' tread,
And out we troop to see:
A single redcoat turns his head,
He turns and looks at me.
My man, from sky to sky's so far,
We never crossed before;
Such leagues apart the world's ends are,
We're like to meet no more.
What thoughts at heart have you and I
We cannot stop to tell;
But dead or living, drunk or dry,
Soldier, I wish you well.
(here's to the latter of those clauses! )
Enjoy!!!

Sometimes I get mad instantly it might be a disorder because I'm still a teenager but I sure get like "NOT IN THE MOOD" But gosh I didn't want to hear your new submission because I wouldn't like to get a bad experience but, I'm glad it didn't happen and I got happy instantly, I always say to keep up but you're unstoppable like your beloved Vera but still don't get cocky and keep up the good work! I did a little giggle when you changed instrument it's funny that you mention it in the comment.
I still can't stop the long and sweet "awww" inside of me but... my my, have a happy life and here is someone making good wishes for the future.

It's a horrible disorder! D=
In fact, I had the same and did not really feel like answering most comments 'till now!
Thank you, don't worry! We might know what we're doing, but we're far from anything truly astounding or what have you.
Hehe, well, I have to describe odd noises to my audience! Thank you once again!

Wow, Haha! This is marvelous! I dont even know where to begin!
I suppose I should start by saying. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I can barely put it into words. I am extremely grateful that you are nice enough to think to play music for me. Heh, misadventures is a good word to describe Ohm. I imagine some of the misfortune he is getting himself into while this song is playing. Though the music seems to describe it in a much more elegant fashion. :) I cannot give you enough praise for this!
As for the second piece... firstly I have to say both of your voices are beautiful! Haha! I can't even imagine anyone in real life singing like that! Awesome! I don't say that in the hip way, rather the literal definition, this inspires awe! I'm adding this to my favorites, simply so I can listen to it again and again. :)
Same goes for the third! It has such simple lyrics, yet tells such a wonderful little story! :)
Overall... BRILLIANT!
Again, I can't thank you enough!

Ha, oh my! What a wondrous comment!
You're way more than welcome, ha, a fellow like you deserves this and way more! Play, here there was a little more than that, actual composition! =D Still in the style of some guys who lived five hundred years ago I'm afraid... D= Come on, Random, it's not fifteen O'nine any more...
Hehe, yeah, renaissance music is a bit stylized! So it always sounds elegant, but if it worked, then yay! That'll make me sleep easy! Thank you!!!
Ach, you're much too kind! But oh, how terrific it is to hear that someone likes our singing so! <3 I hope that you shan't tire after a few re-listens. It's possible, and there are plenty of people who can sing better than us, I assure you!
Hoho, I was a little unsure about the third, I think the song means well... And it's characteristic of 19th century poets/composers to always add that 'darker' prospect in everything (from love songs to songs on nature), so you'll often find a lovely flowery and happy song and at the end something that sort of makes it all a little more 'real' in a way. But wonderful that you liked it! Of course, all of us on this end wish you the best in everything! (Especially for two certain things you're about to embark on!)
Ah, you've thanked plenty. I cannot thank YOU enough for that insanely lovely drawing!!! I shall treasure it for the rest of my life (in fact, I've printed it and stuck it in my literal note-notebook already)!

Yes, a tale of dragons and knights, radios exploding before they ever existed and all that (I'm afraid that the lute isn't exactly a 'grand' instrument like what the piano can be, so everything is a bit subdued =/ ).
Ha, thank you! Her father used to tell me to get lost, but this is because I used to go to her house at around five or six in the morning and play rather than him not liking me. =P

Ahh.. the duet is pretty lofty! Have to be partial to that. People do like mushy, mushy. Despite what people claim; genuine impactful content is usually the preference. It's that or porn. You could try that; sing about throbbing, veiny, flesh interactions and surging fluids and such. But.. you could get away with not doing that as well.
Aaaaanyway, this is a pretty lovely 'morning' collection for me.. thank you!! :3

Why thank you my dear Shäd, the real reasons why I didn't post the normal serenades I sang to her are:
A) I never wrote them down, or have lost the poems and I daren't look in Vera's old diaries (though they probably are in there, the thought didn't occur at the time, and in which case there'd be no music =3).
B) They're in Italianp
C) Technically this one isn't too far off from the truth. I used to go to her house at six in the morning and her father would often chase me away =P (but only because I was waking people up!)
I think I just might put some pornographic madrigals up (Vera wrote the text to one! D= ).
Aw, we're happy you liked it! Stay well now! *evil glare*
