Cloudia and  drpossibly broke into the old mansion on the hill while the full moon was out, an evening of trick or treating got nowhere, and they kept hearing about this place, and supposed textbooks of forbidden knowledge, spells, and other unknowns

The place was quiet, almost abandoned, but at the center of display was a book on a plinth, just like they had been told about, feverishly they were looking through its pages, seeing what secrets it held, completely distracted to the going on's around them~
