Did the hat keeping falling off, or was it blocking your vision at times? It looked good in one of the other photos HugeWolf uploaded :)

Heh, it just kept falling off. I tried rigging up an elastic band that could go around the base of one of my ears and then safety-pinned that band to 2 places inside the hat in hopes of keeping it secure while still making it safe and easy to remove (just in case it got pulled off all of a sudden), but that idea worked for a whopping 5 minutes. After that it was pretty tough to try and put it back on myself and, despite the best efforts of a few others in the group, it just decided that it wanted to not stay on my head.

So, moral of the story: just pin the darn thing on next time. :P
