Variel is a hyena pilot in her mid-late teens (haven’t really decided on her exact age yet). She’d attempt to start a life of piracy, though due to lacking in both skill and material she would be unsuccessful to a comical level.

In fact, more often than not she’d find herself working on cargo aircraft legally. As it’d prove to be a more reliable way to make money for repairs to her plane. Though her incompetence does have one advantage… Of the times she was caught by Imperial forces, she was let go. Granted, on more than one occasion she was shoved out of the planes she was boarding. But aside from some brief humiliation she wasn’t hurt or arrested.

She carries a small derringer pistol, due to being both incredibly cheap and small enough it could be concealed in a pocket without the need for a holster. Though it’s effectiveness is questionable, likely having difficulty penetrating the considerable amount of flight equipment worn by air crews (though one would have to be a very bad shot to intentionally try to shoot a pilot through their parachute, easily the thickest part of their equipment).

Her parachutes are technically a civilian rig, sporting a bright orange and blue striped pattern. She actually owned it prior to decided to attempt a life of piracy, as the higher visibility would be of use in an emergency. Which is something she’d still believe even now.

This specific image shows her jumpsuit, which she doesn’t wear as often as her leather jacket. Just haven’t updated the jacket yet, so that’ll be done soonish.
