Spectors are almost complete copies of each other, since they are not only deprived of any physical differences (except for all sorts of deformities in rare individuals), but also of individuality. All of them are inextricably linked with Lord. They are all just his ears and eyes. They have no characters, views and even any desires.
Here you see one of Tardie's first encounters with Spectors. And the first encounter, when they were really hostile.
She was trying to escape from one unpleasant and dangerous place, and this window seemed to her the only exit. But this exit was also cut off, when these creatures appeared.
Their identical, motionless, silent figures stood in front of the window, separating the light outside from the darkness inside. Freedom from imprisonment.
