Just a simple sketch I did at last minute for the Califur con book. They had only FOUR submissions and were begging people to send crap in. I REALLY don't see much future left for this convention.
I wanted to really push character perspective as I don't see many other people doing that. The goal with the sketch was to make it seem as if the Humongous was being viewed cinematically, from an upwards angled, fish-eyed camera.
On a more asthetic note, I bet there are some people outside the realm of furry who would be appauled by this piece but... I see it as an homage! Long live the TRUE Warrior of the Wasteland! Praise be to the Ayaetola of Rock n' Rollah! ALL HAIL, the Lord Humongous!

I would think if an artist wanted to submit something they would do it right relatively soon after hearing about the convention's continued activity and maybe after a little research. *sigh* generally the culprit is the overall lazyness of people and the poor management of a convention... head.
I was seriously going to put him in there too! He was part of the original coposition sketch... but then I figured I didn't have the time needed to really drop an additional character in there for the conbook entry. I sure as hell will add him in afterwards though. It's just too perfect of a situation to have NOT to illustrate it.
