This was from the first time I actually commissioned an actual artist on the internet.com. Art is by

A dynamic reference sheet sketch for Mike. I had to figure out how his finer details and patterns were going to look. No colors just yet, he was still only really half-baked. And yet he still already looks phenomenal.
The most notable patterns that got decided were the ear dipping, a magical burn on the right arm (for lore reasons), an inverted icicle on the feet, and face stripes reminiscent of Asriel Dreemur. The vest and cut-off jeans were a brilliant addition.
