My attempt at the Thursday Prompt this week. Took a little while to figure out this week's prompt: "clearer".

Celtic Kitsune kind of found out I don't actually post my stuff on the group's page and suggested I at least try it this week. I'm a bit intimidated but I'm going to take a lot of deep breaths and go for it this week. (Oh hell, what I have gone and done now?)
Bit of a follow-up to a previous Thursday Prompt and I'm not sure if it's really where I would like it but this week's prompt was hard, okay? I'll just be happy if I get the tense right this time... you know who you are.

Wasn't really meant to be anything sinister, just a bit of a continuation from a prompt some weeks back were the word was "searching".
The laughter in the empty room at the end was kind of just thrown in as some spice to make you do a double-take: wait, is he talking to himself or not?

Arguing with your own reflection in a mirror was basically all I was going for here. Whether it is happening or has already happened is a bit muddy (ironic given the prompt word this week), but as Helix will tell you: tense is something I desperately need to work on.
Oh crap, I completely forgot passive vs active voice. Creative writing is only so much more difficult than I thought it would be...
This chracter didn't really get a name because that was a part of the reveal in his previous appearance. I guess we could say he's my character Omen from my derpy Severed Roads story, but this isn't exactly what I have in mind for him. Also doesn't really help that none of those characters use their real names...

I find your descriptions to be really relatable. They come from a place from authenticity and that was really captivating for me. Mirrors are interesting things, aren't they? Not entirely sure what the prompt was... but a clever interaction made out of mundane tasks. Great job.
