A remnant from an earlier oC session (I forget who all was there....though I'm certain it was one done alongside  kuro-kai ) that I just remembered about. Also a remnant from the days nearly every character I created was somehow inspired by Sonic The Hedgehogs. Unlike most, though, I never really tried altering his design to make it any less Sonic-like (though that's hard to tell with this one, isn't it?).

Tatsu Yao is what I like to call an "art fodder" character, a character who I made solely for the sake of having a subject I can play around with in terms of posses and design. Unlike some "art fodder" characters of mine, his overall look is never really changed all that drastically -- really, I drew him 'cuz drawing scales on a serpentine body can be relaxing.

He hasn't seen much artistic action in years until this session, which is why I like this pic so much. Should I ever uncover any of his earlier pics, I'll be sure to post them.

(Why the "Mink hybrid" in the Species tag? A remnant of the one sad attempt I did at giving him a story -- he was a mink adventurer who once got lured by a mysterious artifact that ended up housing the soul of a guardian dragon in it. Upon touching it, the mink was soon engulfed by that power and turned into the artifact's new draconian protector.)
