One of the unique features of Emily Wildstyle - she can dig.
Literally - she can use her paws to dig a fairly large hole and lie there hiding from the heat.
She often does this on the beach, digging a hole in the sand, and the couple additionally covers her with a beach umbrella, after which Emily calmly snoozes in comfort.
