Ja, I had this idea, and wanted to act on it, I especially wanted to do the transluscent skin thing.

This looks really unique and original, I like the design very much :3 Even though it's only a quick work in photoshop, it still looks very good because the character and the background are easily distinguishable from one another. Nice job =D

Thank you very much, and yes it was a quick doodle originally, one I polished up. If you also notice, the nackground is a three-colored gradient, giving the glow around the jelly different shades too.

I think you could maybe make a jellyfish race with this =D that would be very awesome :3

Fleshing out how? This is actually the improved version of an older drawing. If you mean more skin, it's supposed to be transluscent

i was thinking longer fingers and maybe a bit of the jellyfish thin skin under arms, chin or something. just a thought., or maybe make that part part of the hair since certain types of jellyfish have an inner stem, the stem could be the body while the hair is the outer layer.

I like it as is personally, but you're welcome to try your hand at a jelly creature of your own. I see almost none, and it's an interesting concept to see others translate.

i was just tossing ideas out there. Wasnt knocking your idea, just giving you more to make it more...jelly

like the transparency tho. that and it looks glowy which is also cool.
