While I know some theory about it, I sure don't know all.
But as so often in Jazz you'll find here typical chord progressions. For each 4 measures you'll find the 1-6-2-5 pattern (I-VI-II-V) in this piece. And where you don't, I've done a chord substitution. This Chord-pattern is typically buildind up tension - from the quite mellow I and VI (which are called tonic-chords) over the II (subdominant) to the V (dominant) and is all released in the final V-I movement.

I hope my translations to english are correct here and that this might help you.
